Directions: From Hwy 5, turn on Hwy 31 (Left from Rose Bud/Right from El Paso), drive approximately 1.9 miles. Our building will be on the left, across from the Romance Post Office.
WINGS - Women in God's Service
WINGS is a Wednesday night Bible study and devotional time that draws women from the congregation and from the community. The goals of the WINGS Ministry are to seriously study God's Word, love and encourage each member of the class, and to reach out to help the community, all for the glory of God. Activities include a ladies' retreat, day trips, and service projects.
Kids
Our children's Bible classes on Sunday mornings:
- Cradle roll
- Pre K and Kindergarten
- 1st-2nd grade
- 3rd-4th grade
- 5th-6th grade
We use a cradle through 6th grade curriculum developed by an experienced preacher and his wife in Arkansas. New material is presented and previous material is reviewed each year.
We have various activities on occasion for our children and families to enjoy. For more information, speak to deacons Rich Clevenger and Doug Stewart.
Teens
Our Youth Group consists of 7th-12th graders. They study the Bible together on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights and Wednesday nights. Teen Bible studies focus on how to become a Christian and what it means to live as a Christian while studying both the Old and New Testaments.
The Youth Group participates annually in Y.O.U. (Youth Outreach University), attends Area Wide Youth Devos, is involved with the Adpot-a-Highway Cleanup Project, delivers care packages to the eldery and needy and is involved in many other service projects. The Youth Group also makes time for each other and plans activities together such as floating the spring river, attending the White County Fair, skating, bowling or just hanging out together.
Our Goal at the Romance Church of Christ is to mold our teens into tomorrow's church leaders.
